Date: 29/07/2025
Dear Valued Community Members
We are pleased to share exciting updates from the Global Hindu Federation as we continue to uphold and promote Sanatana Dharma across the globe.
Upcoming Events – Dates for Your Diary
1. Pt Satish K Sharma to Participate in World Yoga Festival Celebrations
We are delighted to share that Pt Satish K Sharma, Yogacharya and Director of the Global Hindu Federation, will be a featured teacher at the World Yoga Festival Henley, UK.
The two sessions will include practices and meditation to help the saadhaka thrive in Kali Yuga:
“How can Yoga help us navigate a lifetime in Kali Yuga? Is Bhakti superior to Jnana? Are our practices cultivating the nature of Devas or Danavas? Can Yoga Abhyāsa support both the Pravritti and Nivritti Mārga—or only one?”
Dates: 31st July- 3rd August
2. Zoom Seminar: Opposing the Karnataka Rohith Vemula Bill, 2025
Global Hindu Federation invites you to a live Zoom seminar addressing the Karnataka Rohith Vemula (Prevention of Exclusion or Injustice) Bill, 2025, proposed for the upcoming Winter Session of the Karnataka Legislature.
While framed as a social justice bill, its vague provisions risk unjustly targeting Hindu institutions and traditional voices, especially in education. We will explore its legal and cultural implications, and discuss strategic responses.
Date: Sunday, 10th August 2025
Time: 03:00 PM – 04:00 PM BST
Platform: Zoom (link will be emailed)
3. Global Hindu Federation Condemns The Guardian’s Anti-Hindu Remarks
Global Hindu Federation strongly condemns The Guardian for its continued Hinduphobic editorial bias, most recently referring to Priti Patel as “a cow” — a deeply offensive remark mocking a sacred Hindu symbol.
Despite public complaints, the article remains live, with no apology issued — exposing British media double standards and growing disrespect toward Hindus in mainstream discourse.
Global Hindu Federation is organising an online seminar to decide how best to address the issue of media anti-Hindu bias. Join us to have your say.
On behalf of the Global Hindu Federation, we invite you to be part of this global Dharma renaissance. Whether through learning, service, or simply showing up — there is a place for you. Come back, come often, and walk this path with us.
With sincere regards,
